COMPARING TO OTHER BRANDS -
Some points to compare apples to apples are:

- Materials -
Pu vinyl's have poor endurance and flexibility chain store online junk materials.
ENDURO 35 material and above have pretested proven durability - recommended for recreation applications.
JAPANESE MICRO FIBRE leather material is tougher than leather, very water resistant and flexible. See PUNCHTEX - recommended for M grade application or high use enthusiast.
LEATHER - cowhide leather is tough, flexible and comfortable however its 'Kryptonite' is sweat rot of the material if left wet. Recommended for the high end enthusiast

- PRICE - This can be a guide however BEWARE; boxing equipment can be expensive and very poorly shaped with cheap padding and materials. The price can be high due to too many middle man margins before it arrives in store. The price can also be high due to sponsorship of a high profile athlete instead of investing in the construction of the product. ALWAYS buy from a reputable brand that clearly states its warranty - NO PRINTED warranty = rubbish. NO IFS NO BUTS!

- TRUE TO WEIGHT - many gloves are advertised as 12oz or 16oz etc.. but weigh much less - this is deceptive conduct and pure cost cutting - NOTE: Punch Equipment is guaranteed true to weight + has a sewn in label verifying this on gloves were applicable.

WARRANTY = Quality guarantee - duration and exclusions of use  - most brands exclude commercial and professional use from their warranty. Punch equipment offers commercial use of warranties in writing.

COMFORT AND FIT - Most gloves look good in an image online - however its the fit and user comfort that matters at the end of the day - Many gloves are too tight, have poor finger curl (short fingers), hard, low budget memory padding, not true to weight - There is a reason you see Punch Equipment on most instructors and in every professional gym.

AUSTRALIAN MADE VS AUSTRALIAN FAMILY OWNED - only a tiny portion of hand made fight gear can be Australian made due to low productivity high wage requirements and heavy government taxes on the entire process in the Australian economy.
Australian owned designates the company is owned and operated in Australian while importing the goods to make it a viable and price effective. The best way to determine if they truly an Australian family business is to review their YouTube channel and see if the operators appear and genuinely demonstrate the products themselves.
