Setting Up a Boxing Bag
A Boxing Bag is one of the best Boxing Equipment items for your home. Luckily, Punch Equipment has you sorted with a huge range of bags for your home. We have free standing bags, speed balls, floor to ceiling balls, empty bags
Free Standing vs Traditional Boxing Bag
The first decision you'll need to make is choosing between a free standing boxing bag or a traditional bag.
The benefit of a free standing bag is the ability to place a boxing training anywhere in your home, backyard or garage.
The major difference between the two is the fact that a free standing bag can be placed anywhere where there's room.
Whereas, a traditional bag will require a stand or bracket installation, which can be impossible in a rented house. Although, the heavy bag is more suitable for heavy hitters and Kickboxing training at home.
Boxing / Bag Gloves
Choosing the right boxing gloves depends on what kind of training you'll be focusing on at home. If you're hitting a punching bag, you'll need a bag glove. Whereas you'll need a proper boxing glove for hitting boxing pads or a shield. The glove you choose also depends on your weight and height.
The stronger you are, the heavier glove you'll need to train with for building muscle mass. While kids and small ladies will only a smaller boxing glove or they can train with a mma/fingerless mitt.

Hand wraps, cotton inners and quick wraps should be used with all boxing gloves as they help protect the glove from sweat over time. The glove will also last longer with the use of wraps or inners.
